Darren Poesel, has over 30 years of progressively difficult management and leadership assignments. A retired US Marine Corps officer, he has served in the Special Operations, Intelligence and Security fields and is currently a DoD Army Civilian with Foreign Disclosure and Security program manager functions. Darren holds master’s degrees in Business Organizations and Security Management, Cybersecurity Strategy and Information Management, and four DoD board security and intelligence certifications. He has been an ASIS International member since 2014.
Stephen Perkins, CPP(r) has over 25 years of Security management experience. A retired Army officer, he served as a program manager for a leading defense contractor and is currently a senior Army Intelligence civilian with security management functions. Steve holds a master’s degree in public administration and is board certified in project and security management. He has been an ASIS International member for over five years and earned ASIS recognition as the chapter’s CPP Coordinator in 2016.
Daniel E. Brand, CPP, is the 2018 Chapter 159 Treasurer. He has been a member of ASIS International and Chapter 159 since January 1990. Dan is also board certified by ASIS International as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP). Dan has retired from government service. Dan is a 2011 recipient of the US Army Military Intelligence “Knowleton” award, and ASIS Chapter 159 2011 “Kittredge” award.
Dennis Harrison has extensive knowledge and experience in the security field. A 30 year Army veteran with over 18 years serving the Special Forces / Special Operations community. He is a Director of Special Operations for the Nuclear Energy Institute’s (NEI) Composite Adversary Force (CAF). The organization is charged with testing commercial power plant security strategies nationwide through Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regulated Force-on-Force exercises. Additionally, he holds the position as Vice President at Five Star Global Security, a full spectrum security organization that is owned and operated by former US Special Operators. He has been a member of ASIS Chapter 159 since 2013 and this is his second assignment as the Chapter Secretary.
